Body. Confidence.
Body confidence isn’t just about what you see in the mirror — it’s about what’s happening in your mind.
The quiet thoughts.
The instant judgments.
The stories we tell ourselves.
“How did I let my body get like this?”
“My arms are too thin.”
“My stomach is too big.”
These aren’t just passing thoughts — they shape how we feel, how we show up, and how we treat ourselves.
And it often starts young.
Teenagers may feel it most intensely, but the truth is… this doesn’t disappear with age. Social media, movies, magazines — all of them feed us carefully curated, filtered, edited versions of “perfection” that simply don’t exist in real life. Yet we compare ourselves anyway.
And we lose.
So how do we change that?
We start with acceptance.
Not the kind that says “I give up,” but the kind that says:
“I respect my body, even as I grow and evolve.”
Because here’s the truth — you can eat well, exercise, and still not look like the “ideal.” Genetics, environment, life experiences… they all play a role. There is no one-size-fits-all body.
Instead of asking, “How do I look?”
Ask, “What can my body do?”
Your body carries you.
Heals you.
Supports you.
Experiences life with you.
Speak to it like you would a close friend.
With kindness. With patience. With care.
And when negative voices creep in — whether from your own mind or from others — pause and ask:
“Would I say this to someone I love?”
If the answer is no, it doesn’t belong in your inner dialogue.
Set boundaries. Protect your peace. Choose your circle wisely.
Because the people around you should remind you of your worth — not make you question it.
No matter your size, shape, gender, or age — you are not less because of your body.
There is no “perfect body.” There never has been.
You are more than your reflection.
More than a number.
More than a shape.
And the moment you start believing that… everything changes.
